Not sure about the idea of a Sandbox in Yahoo. Is there any evidence for this other than anecdotal? My own anecdotal evidence is that my own seothegame.com is listed and ranking although it has only been running for around a month. In Google the sandbox is thought to be an effect of link ageing. If there is a Sandbox it is a minor inconvenience that is probably the result of some other factor.

You have given valid points, but will you make me more clear about the strategy of Sandbox or Aging. How these can be beneficial from SEO perspective. Do reply

You make some very valid points. However, it should be noted that the use of css not inline or embedded but rather off-page imported or linked as well with any javascript code. Also it is interesting that you made no mention of validating html code. Also no mention that sites with a paid yahoo directory listing fair better. Not sure if this is an over sight or your opinion

All these factors are very much applicable to the Google also for rankings. So whats extra for Yahoo?? I think all above mentioned points are general not to the yahoo specific.

Will be happy to see your clarifications!

I am in an seocontest and am currently needing advice on how to help my site on Yahoo. Doing well on MSN, and okay on Google... but Yahoo is eluding me. Any help would be appreciated from anyone who knows the ins and outs of Yahoo.
Thanks in advance. My site is at http:/shopautodotcaseo.tripod.com
