Baidu Offers Blog Service

Baidu, the number 1 search engine in China, is to launch Baidu Space, a blogging platform, for Chinese bloggers.

Baidu Space will have similar features to MSN Space, a popular personal blogging platform that links to users’ MSN/Hotmail accounts, with:

  • Blogs
  • Photo albums
  • Connecting friends

Bokee, BlogCN, and BlogBus are blog services in the local Chinese market, but none of the blog service provider has yet made profits, according to a Xinhua Report. China’s Internet population is currently the second large in the world with over 110 million Internet users.

Google’s Blogger and WordPress are other free blog platforms that are widely used by US and international users.
