China Online Advertising Revenue 2006
The total online advertising revenue in China reached 2.095 billion yuan in the first half of 2006, in which Sina, Sohu and Baidu were among the top three, according to Analysys. Baidu made the biggest growth to 15.37% from 9.51% within the space of one year, in terms of market share in revenue. Online advertising revenues of all the Chinese online media companies in terms of market share are shown below:
- Sina: 20.66%
- Sohu: 16.32%
- Baidu: 15.37%
- Yahoo: 8.08%
- Netease: 6.20%
- Google: 4.82%
- Tencent: 4.25%
- TOM: 2.67%
- MSN: 1.91%
- Zhongsou: 1.10%
- Other: 18.62%
The total online advertising revenue of 2006 in China is expected to reach 4.387 billion yuan.

Hi Gordon, when you say 2.095 and 4.387, actually, I hope you intend respectively 2 billion and 095 Million and 4 and 387 Million of RMB.
