China Online B2B Blooming

Alibaba recently published a research report in which Alibaba claims its online B2B services have shortened the time merchants spending on their purchase cycle by 75%. Normally, merchants spend between 3.3 to 4.2 months in completing purchase deals via the “traditional offline trading route”; while by utilizing the B2B services on Alibaba, merchants only need to spend 3 weeks the most.

Alibaba insisted that both professional purchasers and entrepreneurs can benefit greatly from using its online B2B service, and currently has over 160 million registered users in over 200 countries.

According to Alexa Ranking, Alibaba’s international site has over 5 million daily visits.

    There are more B2B Platforms out there one that has impressed me much was Xiedo.com B2B Platform it has not just a Trading Function also there are Community Functions included to boost also the contacts with Buyers and Suppliers i will be keeping watching this Site and hope for fresh Ideas to push also the Web 2.0.
