Round of 16′s eight matches:
- Uruguay 2-1 South Korea: Luis Suarez scored twice to help Uruguary defeating Korea Republic.
- Ghana 2-1 USA: Asamoah Gyan scored within 120 minutes of play to take Ghana through to the quarter final.
