Google Celebrates 8th Birthday
Google is 8 years old and celebrates its birthday today, by displaying its 8th year birthday logo on the web search home page.
The second “G” has been changed to an “8″, though there are only 5 candles on the cake.

Very observant. I did not notice anything but a cup-cake.
The candles are representing the number 8 in Roman numerals as follows:
- The two candles at the left form a “V”.
- VIII represents 8.
