Google Plus Social Network Profile URL Shortener, gplus.to

Have already played with Google + Social Network for the last couple of days?

My Google + profile page URL looks like below and is difficult to remember:

https://plus.google.com/108099088932620717110/posts

You can create a customized and shortened profile page URL through gplus.to by entering your nickname/username (that will show up in your profile URL) and profile ID.

    gplus.to, Google + Profile URL Shortener

Example:

  • Username: gordonchoi
  • Profile ID: 108099088932620717110

The chosen username will show up as part of your gplus.to profile URL:

http://gplus.to/[username]

Your username can be from 3 characters to 25 characters in length with letters only (no numbers or special characters).

My gplus.to profile URL becomes:

http://gplus.to/gordonchoi

    I’ve used http://www.glpl.us to create a short url for my google plus profile. Also a great tool.

    Thanks for the tip, just got my 1st invite and was setting all up. now i have an more humane url to my profile: http://gplus.to/sagaintersoft ;)

    Too bad they didn’t let me use the ‘dot’ or the ‘hyphen’ :(

    — Great concept – however a significant concern regarding these services
    Does all traffic/correspondence etc – run through their servers first ( privacy/security and spamming issues)

    I’ve used http://myplus.co to create a short url for my google plus profile. It seems it is using 301 redirect and might add SEO Juice as well for your profiles.
