SEO Strategist Vs SE Optimizer
As a SEO Strategist, I often come across a term: SE Optimizer. From time to time, I receive lots of emails or calls about vacancies on Search Engine Optimization or for SE Optimizer. Often in the job descriptions I saw, “Required to have good understanding of SEO and good HTML programming, and Javascript and CSS would be a plus.”
SE Optimizer tends to work on the coding part of the websites. He optimizes the websites by coding the web pages of a website in the way that the SEO Strategist (or consultant) desires.
SEO Strategist has the vision of the entire plan. He is a consultant due to his good knowledge to SEO. A SEO Strategist create strategies for a website, or a series of websites. He presents the plan to the clients and estimates the duration of the job. The SEO Strategist determines what keywords will be optimized, what text will go into the coding of the web pages, and when the web pages will be ranked in the search engines after all the optimization is completed.
For example, the clients have a series of websites on the topic of Teddy Bear. The SEO strategist will decide the keywords to be optimized for each website and for each web page within a website.
Though I can do HTML and CSS, I am not a typically excellent programmer or coder. I specialize in what I do best - developing strategies for websites in terms of SEO. Besides my other specialty is PPC advertising.
