How to Earn Cash?

Survey Junkie lets you make money by taking surveys online. But unlike many other similar sites who reward you cash for each survey you complete, Survey Junkie first rewards you with virtual points.

The surveys are simple, but you must be honest when completing them. It’s important you are proficient in reading and writing English when participate in the surveys.

New surveys are available on a daily basis. When you try to open one of the new surveys, sometimes you may get a “quota full” or “link has expired” response. This means the surveys have reached their limited capacity and are already filled up by other members.

Sometimes, you may figure out you’re answering the same questions repeatedly. This can happen. But don’t worry and don’t get frustrated about it. It’s because companies simply want to double make sure the members have carefully read each question and have them properly answered.

That’s how it works with virtual points. For every survey that you complete, you’ll get about 20 – 200 points. The advantage is obvious: You instantly get the points after completing a survey that has been matched to you. You won’t have to wait for 24 or 48 hours before seeing your points.

How to Redeem Points for Cash?

You can always redeem your virtual points for gift cards or have them converted into cash. For the cash, you can have it transferred into your personal PayPal account or Dwolla.

Note there is a minimum threshold for cashing out your virtual points which is 1,000 points or is the equivalence of about $10.

Your virtual points don’t expire. i.e. If you completed your first survery 6 months ago, the virtual points that you’ve earned still sits in your Survey Junkie account for forever. This means you can take surveys at your own pace during your own free time.

After you’ve redeemed your points, you should notice there are lifetime points and current points. Lifetime points are the total points you have ever earned. Current points are the points that are still redeemable that you’ve not yet redeemed.

You may see pending points after you have completed a particular survey. Once that particular survey has the pending status cleared, the points will become current points and you can redeem the points.

PayPal: It’s the best and the safest option to redeem your points and cash. Redemptions require you logging in to your PayPal account to verify and completing some actions.

E-Giftcards: They are only available for United States residents. Redemptions through E-Giftcards may require addtional identify and account verification, such as receiving a phone call from the customer service of Survey Junkie.

Dwolla: This is actually to initiate a bank transfer, and is only available to United States bank accounts.

An example is that if you’ve have $30 in your SurveyJunkie.com account which you can deem, what should you do?

When you redeem your points through PayPal or Dwolla, you’re required to redeem all your current points (i.e. all $30 at once).

You may first select to redeem some of your points through e-Giftcard, say $10. Then you redeem the remaining $20 with PayPal or Dwolla.
